Comments: The original rough was a small 2.25 cts crystal segment of a Zambian Emerald.  It cut 0.875 Cts or 39% of the stone was retained.  This was due to using a flat pattern nearly at extinction RI angles. 

Before cutting my Arusha broker told me to soak the crystal in water for 24 hours to allow the stress and strain to settle (Zambian Emerald can be very difficult to cut).  While I think it technical suspect I did not have any issues with this stone to my surprise.
