Sunstone (A Western Sci-Fi)
The Wild West is dying, but its secrets are bleeding out. In 1919, WWI war hero turned Geologist Mineralogist Jebidiah Tsavorite is traversing the rugged American West on a mission: to secure rare mineral specimens for the prestigious Peabody Natural History Museum. His journey across Colorado, Idaho, and Oregon unexpectedly leads him into a muddy mire where his dog, Jonkers, uncovers a shocking secret: a mysterious bipedal alien with purple eyes and a tail. A powerful, sibling-like bond instantly forms between the three as they continue their trek, only to repeatedly encounter a vicious gang targeting the region's wealth. Unbeknownst to most, a shadowy group of powerful oligarchs has established a hidden mountain base where they are building a weaponized, advanced army, funded entirely by their gold vault robberies. Their ultimate, sinister objective is nothing less than total control of the Americas.
As their paths inevitably clash with the technologically advanced oligarchs, Jebidiah and his otherworldly ally realize they are the only force standing between the United States and a future of dictatorship and slavery. Armed with an unlikely blend of geological knowledge and alien science, they must confront a weapon far beyond anything Madam Curie could have imagined. Their fight is no longer just for the museum's collection; it is a desperate struggle for freedom itself.
