Comments: This is a beautiful Sapphire with minor impurities (silk).

This was cut as an experiment to then heat treat the stone but the result was enticing.

The original rough was a river-worn pebble (frosted pitted) of 3.8 cts. This was fashioned into a 1.13 cts stone retaining 30% of the original. Getting the cleanest of the material captured was a challenge that we feel we won (hence it is not heat treated)
